Jeron Teng posts triple-double to lead Flying V in a win

Jeron Teng posted a triple-double to spearhead Flying V in a 114-91 win over AMA Online Education in the PBA-D League Foundation Cup on Monday.

With an all-around game, Teng had 21 points, 11 rebounds and 11 assists to become only the fourth man in the history of the PBA D-League to reached the fate. With the victory, the Thunder had a perfect 8-0 record that placed them on top of the standings.

For Flying V to have the win, Eric Salamat scored 33 points on a 7-for-11 shooting outside the arc. Flying V totaled for 20 three-pointers which surprised the defense of AMA. Furthermore, Jerrick Canada added 15 points, five rebounds and five assists for Flying V. Gab Banal also contributed with 14 points and 12 rebounds.

After trailing 18-2 in the first opening minutes, the Thundre bounced back in the third quarter by scoring a whopping 41 points.

For AMA, Daniel Salonga had 20 points, five rebounds and four assists.
